Cold days, clear skies and gin clear water doesn't make for good lure fishing so after two fruitless hours out came the un-weighted 'Spirajig'.

The un-weighted 'Spirajig' is a brilliant little device for mounting wobbled or trolled deadbaits and within seconds a 6" trout was dancing below the surface. The trout was grabbed on the third cast and within a few minutes a 17lb 8oz Pike was in the net.

A cracking fish and one I probably wouldn't have caught if I hadn't switched tactics and put the 'Spirajig' into action.

I have been fishing long enough to know when a new idea is nothing more than just a gimmick - the 'Spirajig' certainly doesn't fall into that category. It's the most flexible and simple to use mounting system I have ever used and supremely effective for mounting soft deadbaits.
