Purglas Blue Water Series Rods Purglas have since their inception made fine GameTrolling rods. To the best of our knowledge every 1000lb Marlin taken in South Africa has been taken on a PURGLAS BigGame Rod.

We use glass blanks throughout the series, simply because it is more hardy and combined with superior design gives better power at the business end for the effort put in by the angler. Only the best fittings are used on the series and Aftco roller guides and tips are our choice.

Purglas Fresh Water Series Rods Lightness, delicacy and precision are the keys to freshwater success, whether it is with glass or carbon fibre. As with all our other products, every item has 9 quality assurance inspections in the course of its manufacture and every single one has a final strength conformancy test before it leaves the factory.

	Stand-Up 20 and 20EL RGBSU-20 Identical to the 'EL version but in the classic style of a true Stand-Up at 5'5" in length. A one piece rod for added strength and reliability. RGBSU-20EL As with the Stand-Up 30EL, this rod is IGFA rated at 20lb and is fitted as usual with all the fine trimmings that can be expected from a Purglas Quality product.

Stand-Up 30 and 30EL RGBSU-30 Same specification as the 'EL' version but at the standard 5'5" one piece Stand-Up style. Less Length - More Leverage - Less Work. RGBSU-30EL This is a classic style one piece Stand-Up 30lb class IGFA rated fishing rod. The only difference is that it is slightly longer at 6.25ft. Designed with the European angler in mind. Fully fitted with Fuji guides and of course, a Carbon Fuji FPS reel seat. Own one and enjoy your fishing.

	Stand-Up 50 RGBSU-50. 50lb IGFA Rated Stand-Up Rod. 5.5ft in length - one piece rod fully fitted with AFTCO rollers. Price: £155.00


Stand-Up 20-80 RGBSU 20/80. The 'Stroker'. Probably the best all rounder of fishing rods. At 6.25ft in length, this one piece boat rod is fitted throughout with Fuji furnature. It is a sensitive rod that is designed to handle any type of fish from a 1/2lb Pouting at great depth to fish species like Skate & Conger to 150lbs+. Used exclusively in South Africa, this rod has landed Shark to 200lb and has done battle with the largest of the Tuna Species. 	Sport 6-200 RGBQP 200-6. A light 2mtr 10 to 15lb IGFA class boat rod that will give you hours of pleasure. As with all the other Sport rods in this range. This rod is fully fitted with Fuji guides and an FPS reel seat. All rods in the sport boat series are available as a custom build and prices will fluctuate according to individual specifications. 	Sport 6-250 RGBQP 250-6. This is a 10 to 15lb (IGFA rated) 2.5mtr boat rod that is exclusively fitted with fuji equipment and built for strength and durability. A first class light boat rod. Price: £118.00

This is a fully tapered high spec carbon fishing rod with a very sensitive tip and strength through to the butt when you really need it. Casting capability of >4oz plus a large bait.
