Our Barrel Leads are pre-drilled through the centre so that they can have line passed through upto 1mm diameter to add weight to jelly lures and soft plastics. These weights can also be used to add weight to float rigs.
Barrel Leads are used for cocking a float used for Mackerel, Pollack, Garfish and Bass. A great way of fishing, extremely exciting especially for Garfish as they jump out of the water like Marlin and Sail Fish.
Barrel Leads are bullet like shaped at both ends for aerodynamic qualities and are light in weight and pre-marked with their particular weight, making them ideal for trolling and surfcasting, or to add a small bead and swivel to hold in place, or to place near your hook length to keep your baited hook firmly on the bottom where your target species are feeding.
