A selection of Baits that are designed to be used as Casting or Trolling baits to target Cod, Bass, Halibut & even Tuna.
These baits are 200mm long and weigh in at 112gr and are currently rigged with strong size 5/0 Twin Point hook. The soft body is super tough and is through wired for strength to withstand multiple strikes. They will resist sustained attacks from toothy critters, and will without doubt tempt even the cautious of predatory fish species. Available in Standard Mullet Colour, Chub Mackerel, Atlantic Blue Mackerel, Green Atlantic Mackerel and a Striped Bass model. These baits are currently rigged with a strong Twin Point 5/0 hook which can be changed out to suit conditions. If you intend to use these Baits for species other than Bass, Cod and Pollack in the UK, or fishing for Halibut, big Cod or Coalfish in Norway for example; for species like Bluefin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna or Albacore, change the rig from a Twin Point hook to an extra strong Twin Point or a single hook with an in-line eye of say a hook size of 10/0, attached as shown in the following pictures "7" to "10". Suggested hooks are available from us as shown. 200mm (8.5") length 112 Gram (4 oz) weight Through wired for strength & security Realistic styles; Mullet, Atlantic Mackerel (Green & Blue), Chub Mackerel & Striped Bass.
Holographic eyes Soft natural feel "body" encourages fish to hold on Mustad 7897DT Heavy duty carbon steel double hook with long lasting Duratin finish. They make a great replacement for lighter versions especially when targeting bigger & more vexatious fish. Mustad 10121DT-NP Kaiju hooks. Short shank, needle point and thick gauge forged wire makes these hooks a big improvement over the standard trebles or twin point hooks on trolling baits and ideal for treble to single hook conversion. The inline eye allows the hook to align perfectly while the heavy Duratin plating will allow extended use in saltwater. Match these with our Sharnbrook heavy-duty stainless-steel split rings for the ultimate set up.
