The "In-Line Trolling Weight" in its three formats presents a bait without the targeted species being able to see the weight so - it's a "Stealth" system to present a bait. Does away with the need to add Lead Core Line to your line, the 3oz In Line Trolling Weight replacing 125ft of lead core to your trace - vastly improves the handling of your trolled bait. Usual Trolling depth is 3oz; 20 - 30ft: 4oz 30 - 40ft and 5oz; greater than 40ft. Suitable for Surface Trolling where depth of fishing is determined by Trolling Speed and Trolling Weight used, or Drift Fishing under the same parameters, or Anchored Fishing where current determines the weight to be used.
The Trolling weight is to a greater extent a "Snag-Less" system due to its Aqua-Dynamic profile. Very useful for trolling in UK waters for Bass, Cod & Pollock at greater depths using heavier "In-Line Trolling Weights" for bottom feeding species.
