The Vedette Nautilus Lead is a quick-release trolling weight made of a hard alloy, has two sturdy nylon reinforced latching points which you can attach the trolling lead at any point without using swivels, crimps or beads as a stop. The hooking latches have within them particular shaped protrusions that act as clamps to hold the line within and it is easy to change weights to suit the sea conditions and depth of fishing without dismantling your rig. Attach your line into the latch until you hear the line snap into place ensuring that it is fully inserted - removal is the reverse.
The Nautilus Lead is suitable for all types of trolling, both surface and in mid-water, with a much improved streamlined shape which cuts through the water like a torpedo - will not release to any trolling speed.
