The Streamlined Weighted Boom is a great way to present bait that in many cases can out fish other methods.
We have now developed a simple idea of bait presentation that being a short boom that is weighted with either a 7gr, 14gr or 21gr weight, which by the way is perfect for Kayak angling.
There are three different weights to consider with a swivel attached and all mounted on a 18cm boom (180mm overall length), and a longer boom of 20cm (200mm overall length) for those other applications, other sizes may be considered in the future, call us if you have a specific need.
This set of weighted booms came about because the "Bottom Hugger Rig" from SPRO was no longer available even though it played a big part in keeping a multi boom rig firmly set on the sea bed for Flatty fishing (see the set-up in picture 3). A useful weighted boom for Kayak Angling rigs & for Species Fishing especially in Match Fishing Tournaments.
